HotelThe hotel address is:

Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis - Park Place
1500 Park Place Boulevard
Minneapolis, MN 55416

It is in a suburb located directly west of Minneapolis.

The Twin Cities have a great public transportation system for commuters during the week, but weekends are a bit more spotty.

From the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport:

If you are flying into the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport on Thursday or Friday, we recommend that you take the light rail train (LRT) to downtown Minneapolis and get off at the last station in the Warehouse District. The ride will cost you $2.25 during rush hour and $1.75 during off peak hours. Once in the Warehouse District, you can contact the hotel at 1-952-542-8600 to get a hotel shuttle from downtown to St. Louis Park. The hotel shuttle only runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 10:30pm. For weekend travel, you can take a 9B local bus from downtown. For more bus transportation information and bus transfers from the LRT see: www.metrotransit.org

Another way to get to the hotel is by using the super shuttle: 612-827-7777 or 1-800-BLUE-VAN or book online at www.supershuttle.com

Taxicabs are also available, but relatively expensive since you're traveling to the opposite side of the city from where the airport is located. Cab stands are well marked at the airport.

Car:

If you're traveling by car, driving directions can be found at on the Hotel's directions page.

Train:

Travel by train will take you into St. Paul/Midway station. From there, you could take a bus to Minneapolis and then the hotel shuttle or transfer to a bus going to St. Louis Park. Cabs are also available and tend to be right outside the station. Again, they will be pricey since you're on the east side of the cities and the hotel is on the west side.

The Hotel Shuttle:

On Saturday and Sunday, the hotel shuttle does not run so you'll need to rely on taxicabs or bus service or other convention attendees with wheels. A shared taxi to downtown will be much cheaper than going it alone.

Also for those that may need it Monday morning,I would suggest  they contact front desk while they are here to put their request in for Monday.

The Double Tree does not support heliports or Zeppelin skyports at this time. Teleportation is completely your own responsibility. Just leave the hotel intact when you leave.
